MADERNO: the revolution of stain-resistant fabrics with Fluoro-free water-repellent treatment

The very special essence of MADERNO is in its revolutionary stain-resistant property, guaranteed by the easy-clean treatment which protects the fibers with an invisible molecular layer, making the fabric resistant to stains and easily washable with water.

But what makes MADERNO truly unique is its Fluoro-free treatment. In an era where health and safety are paramount, our fabric completely eliminates the use of harmful chemicals such as PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl), which have been associated with significant risks to human health and the environment.

In January 2025, with the entry into force of the AB 1817 regulation in California which bans the use of PFAS in textile products, MADERNO will already be compliant with these new regulations.
